**On Wednesday I sent home a blue piece of paper that looked like this:
Our class mom, Carrie Young, has planned a kite day/picnic event!
When: Tomorrow (April 21) at 12 pm (noon)
Where: At the park below OCSI
Why: To fly kites (we sort of missed kite day at school), eat a picnic, and have fun with our friends and classmates!
Hope to see you there!!

**For these past 2 weeks our 3rd graders have been working hard on their MAP tests. They have all improved from the tests they took in the fall!! HOORAY!
Before spring break we had presented our first persuasive speeches to Mrs. Roe to convince her that we should have a party to celebrate our accomplishments after the MAP testing. Here is the official invitation from Mrs. Roe for our popcorn and ice cream party next week Thursday!

Have a blessed weekend!
