Friday News - March 2

What a GREAT Week of Reading we had!! 
Day 1 - We had two wonderful guest readers! 


Day 2 - Lots of fun character costumes...even I dressed up! 

Day 3 - With our hats on our heads we read outside!





Day 4 - We had middle school buddies come in and read with us! 

In Math we finished up fractions! There are links to a few online math fraction games below (in my last post). 

In Reading we looked at how things we read can be written in different point of views (or persepectives). 1st person, 2nd person. or 3rd person. 

Country Reports 
*Today I sent home a letter regarding more information about the country research projects. Each student is participating in a country group at school (researching and working together), but they are also responsibile for an at-home project.

Memory verse this week is the 10 Commandments (Exodus 20)

3.  You shall not misuse the name of the Lord.
4.  Remember the Sabbath by keeping it holy.
5.  Honor your father and mother.
6.  You shall not murder.
7.  You shall not commit adultery.
8.  You shall not steal.
9.  You shall not lie.
10.  You shall not covet.

Upcoming Dates: 

3/21 - Student-Led Conferences (NO SCHOOL) 

3/30 - Culture Fair! And end of 3rd quarter. 

4/1 - 4/8 (April 1-8) - SPRING BREAK! 

4/9 - School resumes 

4/27 - Elementary Field Day
